The optimal balance of range, charge time and speed for riding around your community.
The Flux EM1 zips around town comfortably, reaching 35+ mph. Depending on state regulations, registering the Flux EM1 as a “moped” in Wisconsin may require it to be governed at 30 mph.
The Flux EM1 is sold with one lithium ion battery and has a range of 25 miles per charge. Purchasing the second battery doubles the range. Many of our clients choose the one battery option and still only have to charge once a week.
Each lithium ion battery is removable and charges on an individual charger that plugs into a normal outlet. The battery charges from empty to full in three hours. No charging station is necessary.
The Flux EM1 speeds up hills with ease, climbing even the steepest hills at 30 mph.
Even though the EM1 is comfortably sized and solidly built on a steel frame, it is still light and easy to maneuver for people of all builds.
The motor's maximum noise is 30 decibels where conversational speech is 60 decibels. It is hub mounted and you'll hardly notice it.
The front and rear disc brakes, combined with brake regeneration, are incredibly responsive. It'll even take a little getting used to.
The digital display and control systems ensure for an accurate range estimate so you always know how far you'll get and when you need to charge.
Never spend 20 minutes looking for a parking spot again! Depending on local regulation the Flux EM1 can be parked at bike racks, but the street works too as the EM1 can squeeze in anywhere. 6 EM1s can fit comfortably in a single parking spot for a car.
The power train and controller settings make for a responsive and very smooth ride.
We regularly get reports from clients that annual maintenance is not required because they "have no issues to report". Just remember to fill the tires!
The motor and controller have a three year warranty with part replacement. The charger, battery and all other non consumable parts have a two year warranty with part replacement.
The Flux EM1 can be registered and titled in all 50 states.
