TURN YOUR COMMUTE INTO A FUN LITTLE ADVENTURE

Health care professionals cannot work from home but often live near the hospital or clinic where they work. Many other professions can skip the rat race, but not you. You still have to deal with the hassle of a strict schedule, in person inter-office politics, driving to work, dealing with traffic, finding a parking spot, and, at some hospitals, even paying for parking!

My name is Matt Brueggeman, co-founder of Flux. I believe that the transition from gas to electric vehicles gives us the opportunity to reassess what is the best for us as individuals. It doesn't make sense to drive a 4,000+ pound vehicle a short distance just to go to work, regardless if the vehicle is gas or electric. We have all seen commercials of cars and SUVs with the capability to scale the side of a mountain. That level of technology and its associated high cost is not necessary for your short commute, especially when it can be such a pain in the neck to park. It is like using a chainsaw to cut a loaf of bread!

There is a better way. Our flagship is the Flux EM1, an electric moped that tops out at 38mph and gets up to 50 miles per charge. It is a blast to ride, quiet, extremely low maintenance and easy to park. We know that most people are familiar with the term "moped”, but we believe it doesn't do the Flux EM1 justice. We refer to it as "Your Local Ride" because it is the perfect fit for getting around short distances. "Your Local Ride" as a commuter turns a hassle into a fun little adventure and solves your parking problem at the same time.

A new technology should make your life less, not more, complicated. You work hard, both at the clinic and at home. Your commute should be fun and give you the opportunity to turn off technology for a moment, feel the breeze and decompress.
