We started up in Madison, Wisconsin to better understand how small electric vehicles could help people in their daily lives. It took a while to get our footing and after false starts in a number of different markets, we started to focus on the RV industry. Through comprehensive research, we learned that for RVers getting around short distances can be a pain. Breaking camp just to go to the store is a hassle and it doesn’t always make sense to tow a car. There hasn’t been a great short distance transportation alternative for RVers, until now. The Flux EM1 is the perfect fit for around the campground and to town because it is a convenient form of reliable, low maintenance short distance transportation that reduces campsite selection hurdles. Furthermore, in our interactions with RVers we learned that for the Flux EM1 to really work it had to be of course fun and convenient but also easy to get going.
